How to view all the adverts :
To view the adverts for sale simply:
• Go to the left-hand side under the heading ‘menu' and using the left-hand button on your mouse click categories.
• You will then be taken to a page where you can either –
• Click on the main categories which are all just to the left of the pictures in the centre of the page
• You can go down the left-hand side and under the heading categories you will see all the categories that are available on this site at the moment.
- If for example you click the category “BIRDS”, a page will come up with a list of subcategories. You simply click on the subcategory you are interested in and a page will come up with up to 10 of these items.
- After the 10th item you will notice some numbers which indicate how many pages, each with 10 items on available to view. To view the next page of 10 items simply click next or you can click one of the numbers to jump to that page.
How to register and contact a seller :
To contact the seller you will first have to register.
To register simply go to the homepage and on the left-hand side under the heading menu, click register (you can also do this from any page where you see a button that says ‘sign in” - once you have clicked ‘sign in” , just above the username and password area you will also see a button called register which you can click).
Once you have clicked the button “to register”, you will be taken to a page where you can simply fill in all your details and create your own personal username and password. You will also be asked for a secret question and answer for security reasons in case at a later date you forget your username and password. Please read our terms and conditions by clicking the “ Read agreement” and then put a tick in the box to the left-hand side so we know you have read this. Once you've filled all these areas then just click the register button at the bottom.
If you have forgotten to fill in an area you will be taken back to the screen to fill in that area again. If this happens you will need to fill in again your username, password and secret answer. This is done for security reasons as these are only saved and encrypted once the page has been completely filled in.
You only need to register once, then you can contact anyone who has placed an advert and also you will be out of place adverts in any of the categories yourself.
Once you have registered then you can go to any advert and click the button at the bottom of all adverts ‘contact seller” and you will be able to send a message to the seller that you are interested or you can simply see some more information about this advert.
How to place an advert:
First you will need to register, if you have already registered to contact a seller you do not need to register again. To register please follow the instructions above under the title ‘How to contact a seller”.
Once you have registered and entered in your username and password you will be taken to a page where you have several options. In the centre area of the page you can change your details if needed, below this you can click “ sell new item''.
Here you can fill in all the details of the advert you wish to place.
- First select the category using the drop-down box.
- Once you have done this the page will refresh and you can choose your sub category. The title area will be seen first by anybody searching this site - the title will also be next to your picture if you have uploaded one.
Once someone clicks on your advert then they will be able to see the description. Please remember to mention whether your item is new or second-hand and try and include as much general information as possible. In the delivery details please mention how you will be sending the item or if it is collection only.
Delivery details can be left blank if necessary, for example if you're advertising holiday cottages.
In the payment method area please mention whether you can take credit cards, PayPal, cheques or cash upon collection.
In the cost box please only enter a price excluding the pound sign, such as: 10.99. The £ will automatically appear on the advert. (Do not enter £10.99 as this includes the £ sign).
The voucher box should only be filled in if you have been given a voucher number to use on www.agooddeal.co.uk.
You can now upload image if you have one but you will notice it must be in Gif or Jpeg format, and must not exceed 512KB and no larger than 300 times 300 pixels.
You do not need to add an image if you do not want to.
Once you have entered all your details please click the submit button. If you did not enter a voucher number and we do not have your credit card details then at this point you will be directed to a new screen to add in your credit card details. You can sell many items on www.agooddeal.co.uk
When you have signed in you can edit your advert at any time. Once you have signed in you simply click ‘viewer/edit items being sold” and you will be able to see all your adverts and whether you had any enquiries for those adverts as well. From this window after you have sold an item you can simply remove it or leave it there if you have similar items to be sold.
